"The Magic of Science" was designed to introduce your students to famous scientists and show them that science can be fun. The show starts with Steve showing one of his magical inventions and taking a Scientific Survey with the audience. Next Steve will introduce Sir Isaac Newton's Theory on Gravity and with the help from a student volunteer show how objects such as an Apple and piece of rope would react without gravity. Next Steve will introduce the audience to Benjamin Franklin's Famous "Key, Kite, and Lighting Storm" experiment and perform his own magical version with the help of another student volunteer. The audience will be laughing and cheering as they learn and are entertained as Steve makes Electricity zoom across the stage. Steve will talk about several of Thomas Edison's most famous inventions including the Light bulb and once again with the help from a volunteer show how magical they really are. Jules, a silly Scientist Puppet will help Steve with some Chemistry Experiments and the students will learn that if they want to learn more about Science or how to do some fun experiments of their own that the LIBRARY is the best place to visit! Science, Magic, and Books...the best formula for a successful Assembly Program!
