Family Library Programs

Magician and Family Entertainer Steve Woyce has been performing his programs at libraries for more than 25 years. He combines colorful props, comedy, and an upbeat personality to entertain, educate, and engage children and families and get them excited about reading. All of Steve's programs are approximately 45 minutes in length and geared towards a family audience where a majority of the children are between the ages 4-10. Every year since 2004 Steve has put together a new program to tie in with the Summer Reading Theme and is offering "The Boxcar Mystery" for Summer 2027!
(Library magic shows are designed for inside performances only)

"The Boxcar Mystery"

Join Magician and Family Entertainer Steve Woyce as he takes your patrons on an excited adventure in "The Boxcar Mystery". Volunteers will join in the fun as they help Steve the Magic Conductor solve a mystery aboard a Magic Boxcar. This program will tie in with the "Mysteries Await at Your Library" 'theme for Summer 2027 and is guaranteed to get children excited about reading and visiting the library.

Steve's schedule was SOLD OUT by the end of January in 2026 and he expects Summer 2027 to fill up just as fast. Contact Steve today to reserve a date for your library before it disappaears.
